Oversees and undertakes all SIL responses to workplace inquiries, investigations, and any misconduct.
Job Description
Position Responsibilities Proactively educate leaders and all staff about the value of preventive measures rather than reactive responses to staff issues and/or concerns. Strategize the need for training, communication, and better partnerships within the family of organizations based on trends from inquiries. Direct the response team and support the workplace inquiry process from start to finish. Provide recommendations to leadership/decision makers based on findings from reviews, mediations, and/or inquiries. Communicate with statutory authorities on child safeguarding issues. Partner within the family of organizations when involving shared staff. Establish and control the security of information related to the inquiry/investigation. Anticipate and make available needed resources before, during and/or after an investigation, conflict resolution and/or mediation. Locate, onboard, train and oversee a pool or team of investigators.

Learner attitude: humble, willing to learn, accept other team members' contributions to your work. High-level of emotional intelligence: know how to navigate multiple emotions, cultural nuances, and maintain the integrity of the inquiry at all times. Intermediate understanding of the child developmental stages. Tactfulness and grace in working with others who are experiencing multiple demands at the same time. Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification: Demonstrates the desire and ability to support corporate Biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities without reservation. Navigates stressful and complex environments with prayer, reliance on scripture and the Holy Spirit, and in community with other Christians. Willing to seek out professional help to maintain their emotional, spiritual, psychological well being. (i.e. counseling, coaching, spiritual direction, pastor, etc… in other words, not functioning as a lone ranger.)
Education and Experience Cross-cultural work/understanding Child developmental stages knowledge and experience Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent at a college or university level Moderate level of Box experience and use Experienced Workplace inquiry best practices
