Job Summary:
The Donor Development / Fundraising Support Volunteer plays a significant role in assisting with donor data management and event coordination. This position helps maintain accurate donor records, supports fundraising initiatives, and ensures smooth event planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities (as volunteer availability allows):
Assist with data entry and management of the Donor Development and Grants Office databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Provide administrative support for fundraising events, including tracking RSVPs, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics.
Support donor communications by preparing thank-you letters, acknowledgments, and event invitations.
Help research and identify potential donors or sponsors for fundraising events.
Assist in organizing and executing fundraising and donor engagement events.
Collaborate with the team to enhance donor engagement strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Google Drive Suite and willingness to learn donor management software.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Enthusiasm for nonprofit work and donor engagement.
Experience in data entry or event planning is a plus.
